Karis and I had finished our advanced divers course and it was her sister's birthday so we decided to go out and celebrate.It was also the festival of Loi Kratong.  This is a festival which falls on the 12th lunar full moon of the year, marking both the highest tide of the year and also the end of the rainy season (thank goodness!). In that it sounded like a small town/village servicing Angkor Wat. What has happened over the past couple of years with the massive boom in tourism is the creation of a tourist dream town.
